Excellent career prospects for trainees: VOSS receives the FOCUS Money Award
Top quality working conditions and training
This is the second time in a row that the company from Wipperfürth has received the FOCUS Money Award in the category “Automotive Supplier”. Among other things, VOSS was able to impress through its excellent working conditions and career prospects for young trainees.
The FOCUS Money Award focuses on and annually assesses the companies in Germany with the highest number of employees. In 2018, a total of 20,000 companies from over 50 sectors took part. Among other things, the extensive study assesses the categories of remuneration, success of training, trainee ratio and additional opportunities for trainees. According to FOCUS Money, VOSS is once again among the best when these assessment criteria are applied.
VOSS is attractive as an employer due to the combination of a wide range of training and further education opportunities with subsequent specialization in particular. This is because the VOSS Group trains its employees itself so that they can specialize according to their interests and their own requirement profile and integrate into the company at an early stage. VOSS therefore recruits around 15 new trainees every year. “At VOSS we have the opportunity to start our professional life in the best possible way. Due to the varied training and the prospects of a permanent position afterwards being ensured, all doors are open to us”, emphasizes Kilian Schönig, a commercial trainee at VOSS in his second year.
The company provides training in a total of ten training occupations. Besides conventional vocational training, there is also the possibility of support in the form of practical semesters, the writing of bachelor’s or master’s theses as well as study-related and voluntary internships. Young graduates can gain comprehensive practical experience in the company through a cross-departmental trainee programme.
VOSS already received the “FOCUS Money Award” for outstanding training opportunities in May 2017. Two months later, the company received the “Healthy Workforce” seal issued by the “Corporate Health Network”.
